Synopsis
Maggie and Negan take on NYC together as they search for Hershel
In an unlikely pairing, Maggie and Negan travel to New York City together in search of Hershel, Maggie’s abducted son. Together they must brave the city’s undead, and face the remaining humans who have gone to great lengths to survive.
Why To Watch The Walking Dead: Dead City?
Undead on arrival, but will satisfy gorehounds and longtime fans.
If you're still interested in The Walking Dead at this point, you've probably decided already if the Maggie and Negan spinoff series is actually worth your time. But if not, I'm here to say that it's a decent enough watch if you still care about these characters. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohen are just as good here as they were on the main show, and they thrive in the new Manhattan setting. Where the show stumbles is with the rest of the cast who do their best with paper-thin characters that practically beg to be eaten by those titular walkers. Daryl's spinoff is much more fun to devour.
