Synopsis
Avatar Aang must return to bring balance to the four nations
Only the avatar can wield the power of all four elements. However, this power comes with the responsibility to maintain the world’s balance. Avatar Aang has been frozen for 100 years and his unexpected disappearance has had severe consequences. The fire nation has spread their empire across the globe. Now that Katara and Sokka have discovered the avatar’s whereabouts, can this group of friends restore balance across the four nations?

Avatar: The Last Airbender is a live action television series based on the popular animated show of the same name. The beloved cartoon was created by Nickelodeon Animation Studios. The show is developed and created by Albert Kim.
Gordon Cormier takes on the role of title character, Avatar Aang, the airbender who has been frozen in ice for a hundred years. Daniel Dae Kim plays Fire Lord Ozai, the ruthless leader of the Fire Nation who is at odds with Aang. Kim was the voice behind General Fong in the original anime series. The much-loved 'cabbage merchant' from the animated series, returns for the live-action series played again by James Sie. Amber Midthunder takes on the role of Princess Yue, leader of the Northern Water Tribe. George Takei is Koh, a primordial spirit and Arden Cho is June, a ruthless and relentless bounty hunter. Avatar: The Last Airbender was released on Netflix on February 22, 2024.
