In this Pop musical recording, the original cast from West End reunites to reprise their roles as the famous six wives of Henry VIII. Accompanied by the Ladies in Waiting (their on-stage band), each Queen performs in a song battle to recount their version of events from the female’s side of history. Together, they provide insightful historical context told through a modern feminist perspective, delivering a fresh take on the mnemonic rhyme “Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived.”
