Fountain of Youth (2025)

Fountain of Youth is a large-scale, globe-trotting adventure with Guy Ritchie's signature touch and the acting talents of John Krasinski and Natalie Portman. The story pulls bits and pieces from Indiana Jones, The Da Vinci Code, and many other heist/adventure films, with its own stunning visuals and a few thrilling action scenes and chases. Most of the originality comes from the sibling bond at the film's center, which adds some heart and spirit to Fountain of Youth. It's an excellent choice for a lighthearted but adventurous family movie night pick.

I expected Fountain of Youth to be about the promise of eternal life tucked inside riddles and ruins. What I didn't expect was how much it would remind me that the most meaningful journeys are the ones we take with the people who've known us the longest. The movie wears its Indiana Jones vibes proudly with a story that makes your heart beat a little faster. But what really hooked me was Luke and Charlotte Purdue, siblings with a shared past they'd rather forget. In a genre that often prizes spectacle over soul, that dynamic is the best part because it takes a familiar trope and makes it new.
