Legendary marshal Wyatt Earp, now a weary gunfighter, s his brothers Morgan and Virgil to pursue their collective fortune in the thriving mining town of Tombstone. But Earp is forced to don a badge again and get help from his notorious pal Doc Holliday when a gang of renegade brigands and rustlers begins terrorizing the town.

Ah the '90s, a time when movies really had the sauce! Assembling a cast that includes Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer, Sam Elliott, and Bill Paxton is a recipe for greatness anyway, but when everyone is firing on all cylinders like they are here, it's just magical to watch it all unfold. Tombstone is brutal and blistering, but understands the importance of letting moments breathe, too, with some truly poetic and emotional scenes cutting through the action. It's easy to compare this to flicks like Unforgiven, but Tombstone has a lot in common with modern thrillers like Rebel Ridge or The Order.
