28 Years Later (2025)

Danny Boyle and Alex Garland return to create the third instalment in the classic horror franchise

28 Years Later is the third instalment in the hit post-apocalyptic horror franchise. The first film, Annihilation, returns to produce 28 Years Later alongside Boyle. 28 Years Later will be the first film in what is planned to be a trilogy continuing the franchise.

28 Years Later stars Cillian Murphy, Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Fiennes, and Emily Kellyman. Oscar-winning Irish actor Cillian Murphy starred in the first film, 28 Days Later, as Jim, a bike courier who awakens from a coma in the midst of an outbreak of a deadly virus. Although Murphy did not return for 20 Weeks Later or 28 Months Later, he reprises his role for Boyle and Garland's return to the franchise. Comer is known for her roles in The Green Knight.
